Home :)

Even though it was way too short, I had a great weekend at home!
Friday afternoon when we got to Andalusia I dropped Jess off at the ball field and stayed for a few minutes to watch. Ander left with me and we went by Walmart because of course we needed batteries for the radio to all gather 'round and listen for some wonderful news....

THIS GIRL MADE OMS CHEERLEADER!!!!

I am so proud and excited for her! But she's growing up way too fast!! Almost taller, if not taller, than I am... definitely not a baby anymore :(

Friday night Ander and I went to Papa Gs for supper and then to DQ for some ice cream (my weakness for sure)! We had a great night of "girl talk"... I really wouldn't want to call anybody else my best friend! I am so thankful for you and the encouragement that you always give me!
On a side note, Ander and I have started waking up early one day a week and calling each other and sharing prayer request with each other and then we both get off the phone and get on our knees and spend time in prayer. If there is anything we can be praying for you for, please let us know! We would love nothing more than to pray for you!

Saturday morning I woke up way too early and had to go lay in bed with these two...

Are they not precious!?!? ;)

I went to the stadium to run and then to Andalusia with Hillary to pick out her furniture. I think she made a perfect choice and I know her house is going to be precious! Come on JUNE 28!!!

We were pretty much late to Holt's first game because we had to run by the house and get all of mom's paraphernalia which included her camera bag, stadium seats, her sweatshirt, and a lint roller :)
But at least she was there for his first bat :)

Bob getting in on our "selfie"! (literally making myself LOL)

And since I didn't get a picture with him after the game.. I got one when I woke up from my nap :)

Sunday morning, Whitney and Karley were baptized and I am so glad I was there to witness it! What a great testimony of what Christ has done in their lives!! So thankful for both of them! Love you both dearly!!

I'm pretty much obsessed with this picture! Whitney, Hillary, and Karley are completely gorgeous and I don't think Britt and Holt are too far behind them ;)

Then, after church... this happened...
and this is why I love my family...

I was so not ready to come back on Sunday but this week has flown by and I'm headed back tomorrow!! I hope everyone is having a great week! Please pray for me.. I have one test today and one tomorrow morning. :)

"Super" Fun Weekend!

Before I begin a recap of my "super" fun weekend, I just want to say how shocked I am at how many views my previous post had. WOW is all I can say...
I just don't really have any words except for The Lord is good... so good! Before I published the post of my testimony, I only had about 100 views tops on one post.
The post itself has 1,528 views as of today. Just stop and let that sink in.

I knew that The Lord had a purpose for that blog post and my prayer is that He has and is still changing lives through my story. If one person is affected by it, it was totally worth it!

Now, on to the weekend...
Friday after I got off work I went to a bonfire for the college students at Luke 4:18. We had a great time of fellowship!

Saturday morning I woke up at literally the crack of dawn for the Superhero Skedaddle 5K with these sweet friends. We left about 10:30 after the race and went to IHOP for brunch. It was such a pretty day and I enjoyed it so much!

Saturday afternoon was spent napping until I realized that I had homework that needed to be done (thankful for my mom continually blowing my phone up until I answered it). So, I got some of it done and then went and ate Mexican with Jess. We literally rode around Mobile for an hour trying to decide what we were going to get for supper.

Sunday morning I went to church and then came home for a bacon and egg sandwich. About mid afternoon I decided I would get out and go to one of my most favorite places ever... THE dunkin' donuts. Now I don't have to drive to Auburn for it!! Whoop whoop!

Sunday night the Dorsett's had us over to watch the Super Bowl. We had such a fun time and I was able to meet several new people. Thankful for the people The Lord is putting in my life that will help encourage me spiritually while I am here.
And I have a confession: I did not even know who was playing in the Super Bowl until I talked to my daddy on the phone Sunday afternoon. He told me to pull for Denver, so I took his word. I guess the game was a good explanation on why we pull for different teams in the SEC.
WAR EAGLE to that!

Yesterday (Monday) I worked and then came home and made chili. :)
I haven't been to school in eleven days due to all of our snow days.. so it is going to be a long day today!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!
I am very much looking forward to seeing my family this weekend!
