Auburn Graduation, Disney Vacation, & Summer Semester

Good morning!
I started writing this post way back in May during my three week break and then summer semester started and I never got around to finishing it. So, now that I am on another break from school, here's to hoping I can at least post some of what I had planned. Most of this post will be full of pictures because I don't ever get pictures printed and want to remember these moments :)

Anthony's Graduation
I finished my spring semester on a Wednesday morning and then went to Auburn for the rest of the week and Anthony graduated on Sunday afternoon.
When he finished his finals, we celebrated by going out to eat at LiveOaks (restaurant downtown that was named after Toomer's Corner Oaks)... and that cheesecake was heavenly

Thankful for my sweet family who drove to Auburn for his graduation. My parents and I gave him this fire pit for his graduation gift. (Can't wait to use it this fall!!)

So very proud of him!!
War Eagle!!

Disney Trip
At Anthony's graduation I was able to meet some of his family that I haven't been able to yet since they live in Orlando. His grandmother invited us down there and we decided to take a road trip.

On Sunday we all went to Magic Kingdom and had a great time! His family left about 4 that afternoon and we stayed and watched the electric parade, celebrate the magic, and the firework show.

The next day was our one year "dating anniversary" so we went back and got the park hopper tickets. We started off the morning at Hollywood Studios, then went over to Animal Kingdom, then went to Epcot to eat supper, and then went back to Animal Kingdom to end the day.

Summer Semester

This semester flew by! Only two more semester of class work left from here! Here's a recap of some things that went on during this past semester...

 Holt turned 19 in June

We spent most Friday nights having Mexican date nights

I went home for Father's Day

I had my first fieldwork rotation which came along with having to complete a fieldwork project for the site where I was placed. Thankful that I have a engineer mind to help me out with these things!
We make a pretty good team ;)

I celebrated my 22nd birthday at home the weekend of the 4th

Then Anthony came to Mobile and we went to biloxi on my actual birthday and spent the day by the pool ;)

My class threw a wedding "shower"for one of our classmates who got married at the beginning of August

Sweet friends after our last final for the semester ;)

And then I headed home to spend time with this guy...

This sweet girl spent the night with me while her parents and sisters where in Birmingham so she got to join in on Friday night date night ;)

Up Next: Hall Family Vacay 2015

Life Lately...

Hello!
Just realized that other than my Valentine's Day post, I haven't posted since my 2014 recap so I thought I would play catch up :)
(This post was actually started at the beginning of March but I haven't had the chance to finish so I just keep adding to it)

Always look forward to the weekend and date nights with this cutie :)
This night we went to Dothan to eat and see American Sniper but when we got to the theatre they were completely sold out so we went to Target and got Starbuck's instead

Celebrating Caroline's 5th birthday at the skating rink

Hall & Sansom girls
This picture is now framed and sitting on my kitchen counter and I just love it!

Spent the afternoon at Chewacla State Park in Auburn.. He literally wore that hat all weekend. Hey, at least the camos match :)

King of the grill...

Lunch at Niffer's at Lake Martin

Took the boat out for one last ride before it sold... and it was chilly freezing cold

Bonfires and s'mores with my sweet classmates

My first Mardi Gras parade

A little studying here and there with breaks for wrestling matches between these two

************************************************

I had a much needed, relaxing spring break. I went home for a few days and then went and spent the rest of the week in Auburn

Target practice with Anthony at home

When this book came out I wanted so badly to run to Target and get my copy but I knew that if I did I would be reading it instead of doing school work (that is obviously more important). So, I waited until spring break to get it. I picked it up on Friday afternoon and was finished reading it by Sunday afternoon right after church. LOVED it!!! I was pretty much sold when Sean told the gospel in his own words on page three. The Bachelor is one of my favorite shows (will be watching Prince Farmings finale tonight at 7) but it just makes me so happy that someone in this position, who has so many eyes on him, made a decision to stand for what is right and to be bold about it. :)
So if you haven't read the book yet, you should! (I'll let you borrow mine)

On Monday I went and visited Mee-Maw at the nursing home. I had a project to do for school but it was just nice to be able to sit and talk for a while with her :)

Whew!
Anthony had a career fair to go to on Thursday and of course I was taking pictures against his will. I'm not supposed to be posting any online either.... oops. ;)

He gave me an ENO for valentines day so we used it for the first time during spring break

Post church selfie.. An is clearly not interested

We've had a couple of afternoons by the pool after class since the weather has been warming up. Looking forward to lots of pool days this summer :)

We went to Biloxi for the Miranda Lambert concert to celebrate the bride-to-be (who is now already a bride since I've waited so long to post)

Anthony came down here on the Tuesday of his spring break. It was nice being able to just leave school and meet him for lunch during the middle of the week :)

I made sure to buy patio furniture when he was here where I wouldn't be the one putting it together

I made my first splint for school a couple of weeks ago. You didn't see me post about it on Facebook or Instagram because it wasn't the most fun thing I've ever done. I think if I wouldn't have been thinking "I really need a good grade on this" the entire time I would have enjoyed it more.

Enjoying breakfast outside using my new patio furniture :)
(Anthony can make some pretty good pancakes, too)

I'm doing a small group study with this sweet group right now. It is a study by Brene Brown and it talks about being brave and vulnerable in different areas of our life. I am realizing that showing up and being who we are can be a difficult thing sometimes, but it's definitely possible.

Rehearsal/dinner for Jess and Cody

Cody getting his eye brows shaped up before the wedding LOL
Something only a sister would do :)

Beautiful bride! So thankful that I was able to be a part of your day!

Easter 2015

An's first basket from the bunny at the Hall house

So thankful for my family

Easter lunch at the country club

Took this picture at school the other day. When I looked down and saw this on my wrist it was such a sweet reminder that I do not find my worth in anything of this world such as what people think of me, how many friends I have, the words (positive or negative) that people say to me, or my grades in school. I find my worth and who I am in what He did for me on that cross so many years ago. And it can all be summed up into this one word, "redeemed".

Headed to Auburn this afternoon when I get out of class! Can't wait to see his sweet face!! :)

Hope everyone is having a great week!
Love, Hayley
